GourmoTerms of Use (EULA)
The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). These terms add details specific to Gourmo. If they conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA prevails.
The service
Gourmo reads a photo of a menu with artificial intelligence and shows translations, explanations, approximate photos, ingredients, possible allergens, spice level, dietary labels and prices converted to your currency.
AI results may be inaccurate
- Translations, descriptions and labels are generated automatically and may contain mistakes, especially for handwritten or unusual menus.
- Allergens are estimated from typical recipes and may be wrong or incomplete. Gourmo is not a medical or safety tool. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, always confirm with the restaurant staff.
- Dish photos are approximate illustrations, not photos of the actual restaurant’s food.
- Converted prices are estimates based on recent exchange rates; the restaurant’s price in its own currency applies.
Free scans and purchases
- Each device includes a small number of free menu scans. Scans that fail are not counted.
- Trip Pass (7 or 14 days) is a one-time purchase that does not renew. It includes a fair-use number of scans shown before purchase and ends after its period.
- +10 scans is a one-time purchase of extra scans that do not expire.
- Yearly subscription includes a free trial where offered and a fair-use number of scans per year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial). The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Scan counts for purchases may depend on your App Store region. To protect the service from abuse, daily limits may apply.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Use “Restore purchases” in Settings to restore purchases on a new device.
Acceptable use
Use Gourmo for photos of food and drink menus. Do not attempt to access our service other than through the app, overload it, reverse-engineer it, or upload content you have no right to share.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated information, including food choices. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
